Annette Bening is keen to reprise her lesbian character from acclaimed 2010 movie "The Kids Are All Right" in a follow-up. The actress was nominated for a Golden Globe for her portrayal of Nic in the film and she had such fun playing Julianne Moore's partner, she wants to play the character again.
She tells Entertainment Weekly magazine, "I have played people who are mentally ill, or killers, and they're interesting to explore... but with this character, I felt really comfortable. I loved playing her. If someone said to me, 'There's another story, and this same character is in (it),' I would be thrilled."
"The Kids Are All Right" is the heartfelt new comedy from acclaimed director Lisa Cholodenko, starring Annette Bening, Julianne Moore, and Mark Ruffalo. It came out for limited release on July 9 this year.
